HELP! PLEASE - windows xp installation

Ok, I decided I would delete the whole partition on my hard drive as I couldn't find a way to install windows xp without problems. I have managed to get as far as applying changes to the keyboard layout and entering the XP serial number, but after that it went to the blue screen and then wouldn't let me go further.


But everytime I go to format, it completes, but after a few % of installing windows files the blue screen of death appears.


Anyone know how to get around this? Any settings I maybe need to change? What may be the problem? Any help would be much appreciated. Ask any questions you may need the answers to if it would help.

It depends on the error what the problem is. Reinstalling Windows can bring out problems you never knew you had. Start by giving us complete details of the error message.
