Help please

Hi all
I am not computer literate, so please be kind to me in your replies :)
A friend belongs to an internet forum and his family have somehow discovered remnants of deleted private messages on their computer. My question is, if he logged onto the forum on my computer to delete his private messages, would they then be traceable (perhaps via the email link to his membership?) on his family's computer? Hope you understand what I'm on about, like I said, not computer literate :o

Well maybe a computer cookie, to the linking address, it would be listed in the history... Meaning you can see where he went, what time he was there and how often he has been there... But not what he was reading. Unless he saved it on his pc. Hope it helps!

The history bit is fine, I just want to know where the deleted messages will end up ... on my computer or his?
