Help Please

Excellent, you've got it?

I have the same graphics card as that btw (ATI 5870) and I get about 30 FPS on Planetside 2 with everything maxxed out at 1080p (though FRAPS may have limitged the FPS to 30). Anyway, it's very playable indeed.

Yes, I bought the PC, without the monitor, for 550, which I think is very reasonable.
Spirit, I would like to say Thank You Very Much. You sir have helped me so very much during this long time I have been looking for a computer. (finally found one!)
Also I was wondering if the computer I bought above is compatible with my monitor (I will have to use VGA as my HDMI cable is used for my xbox) here is my monitor: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824005125
If not I can easily buy an HDMI adaptor ;) thank you!
Though, I'm pretty sure it is, just do not know if VGA will work with the card.

Oh and is that PSU good enough, I mean 1000 watts seem very good ;)

Once again spirit, thank you. Thank you so much.

No problem at all my friend, any time. :)

There aren't any VGA ports on the 5870 I'm afraid (or at least not on mine, I have 2x DVI, 1x HDMI and 1x DisplayPort, no VGA), but what you could do is either buy a VGA to DVI adapter (they work but sometimes you get problems like ghosting and screen flickering) or what would be better is to buy either buy a HDMI or DVI cable for that monitor and plug it into the 5870 via HDMI or DVI. There isn't a difference in quality between DVI abd HDMI at all, but HDMI can carry sound as well as a picture, whereas DVI can only carry a picture. I use DVI and have done for years it's been fine.

PSU looks decent, it's from Cooler Master who don't make the best power supplies in the world, but certainly not the worst. Should work fine. I run my 5870 on an OCZ ZS 650W never had a problem.
