Help pls!

Hi guys I just put together this computer and Im getting a black screen / no signal when I start it up. There are no beeps indicating loose hardware. I just get a blank start up and that is it. I thought it might be my video card but I tried using an old pci card and the same thing happens so I know it's not the PCIe card or the PCI card. Any suggestions?
 
make sure your mobo is not touching the case, check all you connections and if that don't work you might wont to unplug everything and plug it back in. When you say "so signal" do you mean that comes on the monitor or you just have a blank screen? meaning you cant even enter bios..
 
I cant even enter the bios, I get a pure black screen when I start up. I've switched out cards multiple times and nothing, same deal. Do you mean unscrew everything and put everything back together again? I've also tried removing the battery for 1 min then putting it back but still no luck. Same with RAM took out 1 stick but nothing. I'll give the disasembly trick an idea maybe that will work. And no, the mobo is standing on 7 riser screws and they're all screwed into place. So the mobo is not touching the case. Also wouldn't a DOA mobo not even boot up?

I'm gunna wake up early 2morrow and call my gigabyte company maybe they can assist me.

Yeah, call gigabyte and see if they can assist you...outside of checking your connections i don't know what else you could do. Sorry, i know you couldn't wait and were worried about something being DOA :(
 
It's prolly DOA I'm still confused as to how because its so new and fresh and lights and fans work then I boot but I'm stuck at a black screen >_< I'm going to RMA tomorrow. Wish me speeedy delivery.
 
CPU is in correctly (theres only 1 way to put the CPU chip in) and my monitor works fine, I'm posting on the forums on my other machine using my 19' ViewSonic.
