Hello:

Download and Run ComboFix
If you already have Combofix, please delete this copy and download it again as it's being updated regularly.
Note: Do not mouseclick combofix's window whilst it's running. That may cause it to stall

Combofix should never take more that 20 minutes including the reboot if malware is detected.
If it does, open Task Manager then Processes tab (press ctrl, alt and del at the same time) and end any processes of findstr, find, sed or swreg, then combofix should continue.
If that happened we want to know, and also what process you had to end.

In your next reply i will need:
  • A new HiJackThis log
  • The ComboFix log.

I was having the problem that the computer was deadly slow and when I opened the browser, two would open instead of one.
It seems to be working a lot better and only one browser is starting when I hit explorer.

Should I run the AVG software and the Kapersky spy ware at the same time, or should I take one off?

Using two anti-virus programs at once might be the cause of your computers slowness ;) Never mix two of em, use one.

Two antivirus programs running in resident mode can conflict, actually making you less safe, as well as slowing your system down. I suggest you either remove one, or disable the real time protection on one and just use it as an on-demand scanner.

If you choose to keep AVG, I strongly recommend upgrading to the latest version 8.0, as updates will soon not be provided for version 7.5, leaving you completely unprotected from new threats. You can download the newest AVG from http://free.avg.com/ww.download?prd=afe, although if you have a current subscription I would keep Kaspersky and remove AVG.
