I have tried different things but they always find a way around them.
1.Unplug the router/modem and take it with you when you don't want it to be acessable.
2. If you have a plug behide the desk where everything is pluged it so you can get to it, then move the next, buy a timer( you plug it in, you set time for power, then you plug stuff into the timer, and the power goes on/off when set) and plug your router/modem into it, then move desk back.
3.Several programs can do this, don't know the names off the top of my head though, maybe somone can help you there.
What windows do you have?
4.Make a SINGLE user account, or maybe too, for your wife or something, don't tell your kids the password to log in, and make them ask you to log in for them, that why you can sign them off, and they can't get back on.
5.Unplug the mouse/keybored and take it withyou xD =P
6.do your children know much abut computers?Pop open the side, unplug a IDE cable, or a power suppluy cable, put the lid back on, and its "broken" Although after the first day they would know you did something to to, since it happens all the time as certain times heehee.
7.Buy a case with a Key power on, this means instead of a button/switch you push, you put a key in and turn to turn it on, and then you just turn it on when you are home to supervise.
They are 14 and 18. I am tired of fighting with them about using the comp during the night.
