Hi all,
I have been looking around for an all-round type laptop for university; it will mostly be used for work, power points etc. but i will be playing the occasional game and might be doing some graphic design. Essentially i will need decent memory, processor and graphics card but also a solid wifi connection. I don't know a lot about network compatibility or anything like that so i would like some advice.
I would like to spend under $1500 and i found a decent Asus on ebay

I have been told by a friend that although on paper Macbooks don't appear to be as solid, they work a lot faster and considering how light-weight they are it would be great for university, i have also heard that they have a better battery life than most PC's. I would like a laptop that is 16" or smaller.
Thank you
