Would it be better to get an older version of photoshop, if so which one?
Thanks

your specs is decent enough but thats not what cs2 wants right ?
try Photoshop 7 or 6 they will run on your pc

version 7 has always worked well for me. I tried cs when it came out, I had nothing but problems with it, Deleted cs and went back to 7.

I have no interest in upgrading to anything else, unless some really major change happens.

I use CS3EE and it works great.. it blows v7 out of the water.

I use to run CS2 and it was a great program as well.. I wouldn't recommend going with v7 over it.. I'd say try a RAM upgrade on your PC, that should help to get the program running smoothly.

I am buying a new p.c soon so there is no point i think i will go with PS7, but thanks for all the help guys.
