Help removing XP from slave

I just recently lost my master drive due to an overclocking no-no. I could no longer boot to windows. So, I installed XP on my slave drive so I could retrieve my files from the master. I got my files and re-installed XP successfully.

Now, I have no need for XP on my slave. How do I go about removing it without screwing up the master boot table? Once before I wiped the slave with XP on it and my main installation of XP could not boot because something happened to the master boot table.

Again how do I remove XP from my slave drive without ruining my other installation of XP?

Help is appreciated :)

Never mind - I got it.

For future reference, just go into the system properties>Startup and recovery>EDIT and manually delete the boot line for the OS you need to delete. Then, save the new boot.ini file. Then you can delete the OS files from wherever you need to.

BE SURE TO BACK UP ALL NECESSARY DATA FIRST, BECAUSE IF THIS GOES WRONG, YOU WILL BE UNABLE TO BOOT BACK INTO WINDOWS!
