at the moment im just on minecraft and it crashes but i like games such as mw3 and skyrim that i cant curantly play

Your motherboard. No point upgrading it, to old. Would be better off building a new one.

Good but yo'll also need a new copy of windows most likely, if you bought a retail copy then you won't but otherwise you will or you can contact microsoft and see if they'll let you transfer it, or you can get a free windows 8 preview.

well for gaming you'll also need a graphics card, but here's some better stuff

ok graphics card i got a inno3D geforcegt 1GB PCI-E card
dont know if it would fit but i got a nice graphics card of the other fit aswell
