Hey computerforum, I need some help "Tweaking" my computer so that it runs really smooth again. I feel like I have done all I can do and it still seems to be running kinda sloppy.

I ran this list of prorams:

AVG Free Edition
Advanced SystemCare3
Ccleaner
Glary Utilities
Malwearbytes
Auslogics Disk Defrag(64.3% defragged)

I also did Msconfig to turn off background programs. I am also using Cacheman and Gameboost (comes with Advanced systemcare).

What more can I do so that my computer can be running to its full potential.

I'm kinda an online gamer, I play Champions online so my main focus is smooth game play.

Here are my computer specs:

OS: WindowsXP Home 32bit
CPU: AMD Athlon 64 x2 Duel Core 5200+
GPU: Geforce 9800GT 512MB
RAM: 2 Gigs
(if you need anymore information just ask)

Thank you for you help and your time.

go to my computer
Right click the windows drive (usually is the C:/ drive)
click properties
uncheck Allow indexing Service to index this disk for fast file shearch
it gonna give you some acess denieds but click yes to all.
also u can shut down the system restore as well.

Wouldn't turning off indexing slow it down?

Also is there any programs that specialize in tweaking your computer to its full potential

About indexing,it only speeds up the searchs u made (takle a few more seconds finding somenthing)
but your computer turns in a new faster computer with im turned off.
Believe me...

About the system, restore turned off,its a litlle more for advanced users,
but once in a while is good to turn it off (so he can delete all the system restore points he has made fast the last months) and turn him on again after he does that.
