Im interested in getting a tablet to help my artistic abilities grow (currently junk haha). So I have looked around and seen some stuff but I would like to hear comments on which ones are good. Yes I am looking for something thats bang for the buck, I dont want to spend thousands of dollars but if I had to put down a hundred of few I guess I can live but Id like to hear your suggestions first.

Wacom Intuos Tablet

HI,
I have a Wacom Intuos tablet. Mine is the older version that does not have the button set at the top of the writing surface. I like it very much.

You should check eBay. That's where I got mine. Avoid the serial interface tablets. Wacom no longer supports them. Mine is USB. Wacom does have a Vista driver.

The Graphire tablet mentioned above is fine, just a bit small with less flexibility. That's where I started. The Intuos is better but also more expensive.
