Help! Trying to Connect Leads

That would be the firewire port on the case and page 1-29 of your motherboard manual will tell you how to connect it to your board. It's the IEEE1394 port.
 
johnb - thanks for the quick reply. I saw that, but do I connect the individual leads or the pin connector? Or does the pin connector replace the individual leads or vice versa?
 
What do you mean by pin connector? Usually the 1394 connections from the case is molded into one connector like a usb connector is.
 
It is, that's what I meant, But I think I answered my own question. Because out of the molded connector, are also the separate leads. I'm thinking this was designed this way to compensate for the different motherboards (my mb can handle the connector, but others may not). Sound right?
 
Without looking at the connector itself, its hard telling. As long as the connections are in the right spot on the one piece connection then just use that.
