help upgrading a dell 9300

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if u guys had any suggestions for the following upgrades:
- would like to upgrade internal hard drive to around 120 -160-GB
- would like to upgrade memory (i have one slot of 512) to 1024.

Do u guys have any suggestions on what specific products i should be looking at. I would obviously prefer the cheaper ones......

Either of those sticks of RAM should work in the system. You could even look for faster RAM. As long as it's DDR2 and PC2-4200 or faster, it should work in the laptop.

As for the HD, I beleive that'd just be an IDE/PATA drive(2.5", of course) However, I know a few laptops use SATA drive. Perhaps someone else can verify what type of drive that laptop uses.
