help upgrading a dell 9300

Hey everyone,

I was just wondering if u guys had any suggestions for the following upgrades:
- would like to upgrade internal hard drive to around 120 -160-GB
- would like to upgrade memory (i have one slot of 512) to 1024.

Do u guys have any suggestions on what specific products i should be looking at. I would obviously prefer the cheaper ones......

Your system uses PC2 533MHz 200pin SODIMMs. You can order them from Dell (http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&cs=19&sku=A0743825) but you can get them much cheaper else where. Laptop drives don't get as large capacities as desktop drives, I think there are some 120GB ones around but I don't recall seeing any bigger than that.
