I'm trying to build a computer with a Via Epia-M10000 motherboard...
Once I turn it on a screen comes up telling me to "Press DEL to enter setup"
So I press delete on the keyboard... nothing happens
I try the same procedure with two other keyboards... nothing happens with them either.

How can I get the motherboard to recognize my keyboard???

thats a pretty cool motherboard. never really seen one like that. Anyways, it could be your keyboard. sometimes the computer will recognize it and other times you will need to install a driver into the computer. If you have a standard usb wired keyboard, you can use that to get to your desktop and then install the driver if its required

Thx

I don't have a USB wired keyboard but my friend says he has one and he'll bring it over tonight. I hope that does the trick!

.....It didn't work.....
Maybe it's because I'm lacking the proper drivers, but I have no idea how I can install them considering that the four keyboards that I've tried (three PS/2 and one USB) arn't recognized. I can't get past the "Press DEL to enter setup" screen. Any other ideas?

Hm. I've never expierenced that problem. Sometimes when you get a new comp and you hook up some good keyboard to it it wont work. THen if you change the keyboard to sumthin crappy, it will work almost all the time.
