(horizontal addressability) * (vertical addressability) * (pixel depth)/8 lets say 1600x1280 1600 x 1280 * 32 / 8 = 8192000 bytes 8192kb / 1024 = 8 so an 8mb video card would be enough. However vista uses it more like a game, so would require 128mb minimum.
