help want my CS to work

Help.

My problem: I have set my screen resolution to 1600 x 1200 in Counterstrike Condition Zero and now the screen is black!!! (But the game and music is running in the background!).

Because the screen is totally black I cannot change the settings back to 800 x 600 (which worked fine)!!!!.

I use Windows XP sp2 and onboard video ( for now) and have un-installed Condition Zero but the problem remains the same!

Can anyone help me out on this one?
 
What make and model of monitor are you using?

It's most likely incapable of running at 1600x1200, try 1280 or even 1024.

well i dont think he can try 1280 or even 1024 because he cant see anything. so wat i wuld try doin is reinstalling.
 
If the resolution is set to high in Windows, boot into safemode (tap F8 during boot) and change it to a supported value.
 
nah se i cant even get in da game to change the resolution back.... ya my monitor can do resolution tah high ( think) but i think teh problem is that my onboard vid cant do resolution taht high. How would going into safe mode solv the problem i dont really get that
