Help. Want to upgrade PSU and GPU.

That computer should use a standard ATX power supply, so yes it will fit.

You may want to think about spending a few bucks more on this power supply, modular will help alot with cable management in that case:

Although, 650W is really overkill, i guess it does leave you upgrade room for a future mobo+cpu upgrade or whatnot.

How much are you looking to spend on a GPU? Anything too much and you're gonna see the CPU start to bottleneck you since its a dual core based on the older athlon tech.

I have an Acer Aspire M3100-UD5200A - specs:

I want to upgrade my psu and gpu.

My question:

Will any psu fit? I have no tech knowledge. I was thinking of getting a Corsair 650TX - will it fit?

Also, will any gpu fit? (no idea what card yet)

Thank you so much in advance for your help.

PSU should fit

And no, not any graphics card will fit, because you have a small case. Low profile cards might fit though. You will be able to get it all if you get a new, bigger case, but then I am not sure if you have a mATX motherboard. If not, you will have to get a new motherboard too, either mATX or ATX.

That computer uses standard full height cards.

Thanks for the replies. As far as GPU, not really sure, was thinking ATI 5550 or 5650 probably 1gb. Will that cause a bottleneck or should I be OK? My board/chipset is a AMD 690g - ATI based i think) does it matter if i get an ATI or Nvidia card?

Thank you so much for your help.
