Its the novice again (check out my other threads by clicking on my name) Anyway back to the point in hand - I often read in magazines prior to running certain programs you must ensure you have a "System Restore Point" Does that just mean back up my files for example on a DVD or is it something that you perform within Windows. I am so clueless and although I have received a free backup disk I still have problems (see my thread regarding)

no they mean to into the system and set a restore point. This can be done by clicking Start>All Programs>Accessories>System Tools>System Restore and then create a restore point. These are not 100% fail safe but are a good place to start if you want to try to be secure.

Thanks Codeman. I will try that. Do you know anything about ard disk backup. If you do please click on my name and see my thread regarding - If you can help I would very much appreciate it.
