I need help on picking a motherboard i am mostly looking for processing power

the thing that i do not get is that the VIA EPIA P900-10 Pico-ITX Embedded Mainboard has a 1 ghz dual core processor and 2 times 1 = 2 ghz or is it 1 ghz in total
