HELP! windows - system error!

"there is an ip address conflict with another system on the network"

i did add a my mom's pc to my wireless network, but it kept on asking me for the "windows 98se os disk" so i thought it didn't work, i tried using the internet on her pc but it wouldn't work.

Well, it sounds like the same ip is being used. In your TCP/IP settings for your mother's network connections, what is the settings? It should look something like this:

Is it set like that above, or is it given a specific ip address?
