HELP Windows won't boot I messed up the 7MB Partition

HELP windows won't boot I messed up the 7MB partition on the hard drive,
I have a partition manager that I can boot from, the 7MB partition is file system
Bootlt EMBRM, I messed it up when trying to install Linux which was unsuccessful.
I knead help really bad, my mom and sister are going to KILL ME :eek:
 
Well I'm not quit sure if I messed up the 7MB partition or not. When I turn it on all I get after the little BOIS thing is a black screen with the letters LI on it, I need help :(
 
The 7MB partition has the following files on it: [BOOTITNG, BOOTITNG.DAT, BOOTTITNG.HLP, BOOTITNG.MSE, BOOTITNG.STR, BOOTITNG.SYS, EMBRL]
I wont to completely do away with Linux for now. Help would be HIGHLY Appreciated.

O and I am running win XP pro.

And I had tried to install Mandrake Linux 8.1. BIG mistake

I Fixed it; I booted from the Windows installation disk, clicked on repair, and ran FIXAMR,
Well I think it was AMR, LOL. Any way it works great now :D
 
Ya Mandrake isn't really for people just starting to use linux it's a little bit more advanced. I would try to find a little bit more user friendly version like kubuntu.
 
i just ordered the ubuntu cd and dvd new version , wonder how long it takes to arrive since it is FREE :)

A long time... I got 10 through the post, but I had ordered them about 2 and a half months before... That's why they say that they prefer it if you were to copy the Install CD.

If you want, I'll send you a copy through the post :)
