I just bought a new system, all the parts came brand new and the specs are listed below

Abit AA8 Duramax Motherboard
Pentium 4 3.0 Ghz 530 LGA775
PQI 512MB PC4200 DDR2 memory
Geforce PCX5900 Videocard ( PCI - Express)
Hitachi 250GB SATA Harddrive

Everything was working fine in the first day or two that I set my system up, played games searched the internet; the basics. I decided to use the uGuru software to overclock my cpu, which came with the AA8 Mobo package. I just played around a bit bringing it to 3.3 ghz, then after a couple minutes I brought it back to the default settings.
PROBLEM: After I brought it to the default settings it asked me to restart the system. When it restarted the monitor screen didn't seem to be getting the signal from the videocard or the computer is just not sending it.
But there was a POSTcode displayed, 9.0. I looked it up and next to the code 9.0 it read "Complete uGuru initial process, AWARD BIOS take over booting job"
Now the computer starts up, hard drive spins, fans and everything sounds ok. But nothing shows up on the screen. ( Monitor usually has a green light that is on when a signal is being received by the PC, and orange shows up for the power save. And Im only getting the Orange light.)

I tried somethings on my own like resetting the CMOS, for example it's next to the battery, I changed the 1-2 settings to 2-3 then back to 1-2 thinking that will work because it will erase the cmos settings, But it didn't.
Also tried removing the cmos(?) battery (button battery that's on almost every motherboard.) still no sign of progress.

Your help is my last chance then this thing goes to the garbage

Thank you

Try removing the video card and reinstalling it :)

Possible the V.c. is fried?

I thought the problem was the videocard, so I changed it with another working card and still nothing. The POSTcode 9.0 says the AWARD BIOS is taking over the boot job. What does that mean? I've been trying to clear the bios but had no luck.
The V.C Fried? Doesn't it only fry if you have the power connected and then try to reset the cmos? I made sure no power was going in. I unpluggeed the cord switched off the power supply, unplugged the atx connector and removed the button battery.

The V.C Fried?
Dunno i was asking you if that was a possibility :) (symptoms would be semi similar)

You'd be surprised how many ways a v.c. can fry :P
