so i got me a dell with a pentium 4 + xp pro and im having some problems.
#1. im trying to watch a video and its in quicktime format so it brings up quicktime and then before it plays it says "you may experience problems playing a movie track in this video because the required compressor could not be found". what does that mean? is there anything i can do?
#2. my aol instant messenger starting about a month ago when i tried to talk to someone it would say "an error or problem has occured and aol instant messenger has to shut down". it says that when i recieve an im or i open an im window. i can be online and put an away message up but i wont see any messages that get my away message and if a box comes up like i said, it shuts down. anyone else had this problem? ive tried downloading it several times after reinstalling it and it does the same thing. also i tried downloading the new triton version on their site but it says there was some invalid file or something after i got it downloaded.
like i said i dont know much about program stuff, so any information appreciated.
