help with broadband

i have just ordered broadband from aol but i am worried that it may not work correctly.
i have a second phone jack in the bedroom witch is just an extention from the main phone line witch bt fitted and runs around the outside of the house.
i use an extention from that phone jack to my pc how do i go about setting it all up do i plug the filter direct into the jack and then the extention or what.please help. thanks in advance

Doesnt matter all that much.... as long as its present
