help with building a budget gaming PC?

alright i wanna be able to play HL2 on highest settings with no lag. if anyone could help me setup a system on newegg i would appreciate it. try to keep the price as low as you can but dont skimp out on performance.

What exactly is your budget? You wan't this computer just to play HL2? Have a look at Questions 101

well, i put together a setup that could definitely play it for $1200. if you could get it below $1000 or just lower than $1200 it would help
