Help with choosing a laptop

Hello all

Im looking for some advice, im looking for a laptop for my husband for christmas, the problem i have is i no nothing about laptops or what he needs, so I'm looking for the names of the laptops that are any good for what he is looking for in my price range.
So this is what he would use it for:
General internet use
Music production, not on a serouis scale just likes playing about
CAD designing
Price range up to £450

Hello, well I seen can so I am going to recommend some business line notebooks.
Lenovo:
Thinkpad T series

Thinkpad X series

Thinkpad E series

Dell:
Latitude

Precision

Elitebook

Probook


These are all business line notebooks, I am American but 450 Euro is not that much from what I can remember when I lived in Italy, it is enough to get something pretty good though.

Any of those companies with those name brands I recommend cause their business line computers are unmatched in quality. I seen you listed CAD, I would recommend if you could find one with a Nvidia NVS for the graphics as this will help improve the user experience when using that kind of software.
