help with cpu fan

my cpu fan is broken
is it good to still use my computer while my cpu fan is dead or will it destroy my cpu?
the computer is not used for gaming or nothing just simple computing

Don't use your computer without a CPU fan. Otherwise there will be nothing to cool it down so it will overheat.

The bearings are probably broken. Just replace the fan.

Don't run your computer without the CPU fan. Being hard to spin means the bearing is shot, so you need to replace the entire fan.

Do you want to replace just the fan or the entire heatsink? Give us some more details so we can help you out more.

you can open the fan up and spray a tiny amount of wd40/crc on the bearings
search you tube for a video demonstration

I really wouldn't recommend that .

Just don't use your computer at all until you replace the fan. I wouldn't run the risk of burning out my CPU.

Do that if you have absolutely no idea.

If you have a stock AMD or intel cooler, go on ebay and you will have a replacement in a matter of days. If you it were me id be down to the closest computer shop and offering them a tener ($10) for a new one.

We don't recommend to use your computer with fan broken and CPU Fan is cheap, if you use it without fan, great chances the next will be replaced is the whole PC itself. Stop running your PC without the CPU fan before you do more costly damage and fry your CPU and/or motherboard. There's no option for this just "REPLACE IT". I hope you get our point.

thanks for the recomendations not to use my computer guys . i will try to buy a replacement soon
