help with drivers

Im trying to help a friend of mine who recently formated her computer but did not save any of her drivers. the problem is that I dont know what the motherboard is. her video and sound are onboard so is there a way to find out what drivers to download without pulling her computer to peices. The pc is store built and its an old p4 so i guess it would have an intel video chip not sure about the rest, any help would be apreciated

in my opinion this forum continues to be the best resource for computer information on the web

Nice words. Hope you find what you're looking for. PC Wizard isn't too bad, but if it's an old P4, then its most likely out of warranty. If it's over a year old, I say just pull it open and check it out (being careful of course). If you take it into a local PC shop, the one near me looks at it, and makes you a driver DVD for XP or Vista for £20 ($30-35). Maybe somewhere near you offers the same service?
