Hello,
I have two laptops, Hp zd8000 and Gateway mx 7515, both having XP Media Center platforms and need help with the following.
1) Can anyone recommend good/affordable software for burning cd's and dvd's? Preferably something with ability to utilize lightscribe feature? Otherwise, I can use other software for latter.
I can burn items using Media Center and/or "Sonic DVD Labeler" but have issues with both programs at times.
2) I am unable to create any type of system backup with the Microsoft "backup wizard" on either computer. My Gateway states it "cannot connect to removable storage device...". What is that supposed to mean as I am just trying to burn a DVD backup of files? Again will new DVD recommended software have that ability?
3) I want to get a wireless router but which one/type? The Gateway has 802.11g while my HP has 802.11b/g, wireless wifi built into them. Do I get the older version 802.11g wireless modem or look to get the newer 802.11n type? I want to utilize both computers built in wireless feature to A) share an internet connection, B) possibly transfer files between the two and C) share a printer(usb hardwired). I would also like one of the laptops to stay hardwired (ethernet).
Your help would be appreciated!
