Help with editing videos

I have some videos of myself playing piano/singing, and I would like to put the lyrics onto the screen as I sing them.

Like this guy:

I'm a total noob with video editing software, but can Windows Movie Maker do that? If so how?

WMM can do that. It's called subtitles via text and during clips.
