Not sure if this is in the right section or not cuz I don't have a soundcard in my computer, I'm using the onboard sound on my mb, but I figured it was a sound-related question so this would be the best place.
Anyway, I'm using my computer with my dj setup, where I play the songs on my computer, then they go to my external mixer, using the front output for channel 1, and the rear output for channel 2.
The problem is that the rear output is WAAYYYY lower than the front output. Does anybody know of a good way to increase the gain on the rear speakers to match the front? Hoping for a way to do it with software and not have to use some kind of external amplifier.
Would it help to use a dedicated soundcard? Would that have matched outputs?
TIA
