help with graphic card and fan problem!!!

after using "speedfan " ( software ) i found out after running my PC for 1 hour the temperature of my PC is like this

check: 45C
burning: 82C
burning: 46C
burning HD0: 50c
HD1 : 0 C


is there anything i can buy that can keep my system cool? except water cooling?

and i am using sapphire x1950 pro agp 512mb when it get hot its run really slow...
i am using the stock cooling fan .. so if i have to change the fan what should i change it to?
is it possible to install this on my sapphire x1950 pro agp 512mb??

i didn't overclock it. i have 2 case fans one on the mother board one on the case.

i switched from x800 to x1950 which x1950 is suppose to run a lot faster but i hardly notice any difference. and after 1 or 2 hours just leaving the computer on and surfweb. it get kind of hot and when i run game it gets kind of slow. way slower than x800

i have a sony PCV-RS630G

2 GB DDR corsair RAM



or should i just return it and get a x850xt PE?


do you have any benchmark software so i can test my result??

should i get another ARCTIC COOLING Arctic Fan 8 (AF8) 80mm Case Fan??? along with the graphic card fan?

the X1950 pro DOES run really hot (benchmarked my friend's one before), you should have purchased a 7900GS or a 7900GT, they are really zippy without the heat. They are better than the X1950pro and overclocks much better. Regarding your CPU temps, why not get a custom after-market CPU cooler.

well dude i am a noob so.. can you please help me??

i just spent 256 on x1950 pro .. so i don't think i can return it.. because then i will wasted my 20 dollars shipping and 15 % restocking fees and self return shipping fees..

you are saying coustom cpu cooler?? would you please show me one?

omg i don't know anything about replacing a fan......

my motherboard is a asus p4sd-vl

i just bought artic cooling x2 fan for my x1950 hope it will solve my problem..
 
The X1950pro that my friend has, has a HUGE copper heatsink and fan, and I just thought that its sufficient. Replacing the fan is easy if you know what to do, if you don't they I suggest you leave it to the experts as you can damage your computer if you try.
 
whoeversaid the 7900 gt is better than the 1950 pro.

do some research. i did a whole lot b4 picking a 1950 pro up

1950 pro > than 7900 gt @ 1680/1050 bc of the more pixel shaders..

and if u get a asus, they have a better cooler stock.

and the memory clocks oc pretty well on the 1950 core is kinda unflexible


and as far as performance gains.. u must be using the AGP type, it gets necked pretty quick. not rly worth it
 
The 7900GT IS better than a X1950pro. Have you looked at their test systems? I have actually used the same system to benchmark BOTH cards, so its fair. The 7900GT beats the X1950pro in 3dmark 06 by about 600 points at stock, and when overclocked the 7900GT is streaks ahead. Also the X1950pro generates MUCH more heat than the 7900GT.
 
according to my researchs x1950 is faster than 7900gt is most of the games.

althought 7900gt is faster in some games but doesn't have great advantage
 
Well, I have used 3Dmark 05 and 06, as well as Doom 3, Half life 2, Farcry and supreme commander to benchmark them. I know that Farcry and Supreme commander are "neutral" games, which means they are not optimised for any card, why Doom 3 and Half life 2 are optimised for Nvidia and ATi respectively. The 7900GT (stock speeds) marginally defeated the X1950pro in ALL neutral game tests including 3dmark. When overclocked, the 7900GT left the X1950pro in its dust. I was using pentium D 945 CPU with 1GB of DDR 667 Ram.
 
What do you mean "default games"? The game tests are how the scores are determined, if you don't run them you wouldn't get a score. All the other tests don't affect the score, like the CPU test in 3dMark 05. For 3dmark 06, you will have to do 6 tests from memory. CPU, ShaderModel 3 and Shadermodel 2 I think.
 
no i mean i couldn't get it to test on some of the games i have thats what i meant or you cant do that???
