my current desktop has a shamfully old nVidia geForce 5200 256mb gpu, 512Ram and a pentium 4 3.2ghz processor
i can run cs:s @ 40fps with medium graphics settings : 1280/1024 res LCD
if i ran the same game on a laptop thet had a geforce 7300 256mb gpu, 512mb RAM (im probs gonna upgrade to 1.5gb or 1.25 gb depending on wether there are 2 sticks of 256 or 1 stick of 512, i will add a 1gb stick of RAM to it) and an AMD turion 1.8ghz processor, @ 1024/768 res, then what kind of performance can i expect, and what graphics settings would i set it to to get a good performance out of
(im amazed i can run css on this gpu as it has reviews of gpu's in the latest episode of custom pc, and they had a 5950 which scored 0 on everything, and mines a 5200
that seems pretty strange to me)
any comments/answers will do
