ok so i made my computer.. everything loads well until windows... the only problems i get are these... 1) my computer for some reason disconnects the hdd thus making my hdd unavailable, not sure i the cables are connected properly or what. 2) every time i start a game for example, starcraft 2, game loading then as soon as it finishes loading i get a random lag/not responding/freezing time for like 10 sec then ill hear my cpu or gpu to make a beep then the game runs smoothly/stable condition. any help? :confused:

I think this is not a hardware problem, I think this is a software problem. If the hard disk gets unplugged for sure windows will show you its annoying error blue screen. Try removing some processes and services from the task manager. There's a chance one of those processes is causing troubles.

like what processes should i remove? its like becoming an external drive and getting unplugged like a usb. the hard drive itself is working fine. cables and power supply are working fine too.

Download the HDD manufacturer diagnostic software (bootable cd) and test the drive. It might be defective.

System specs would help.
How much memory do you have?
If you have too little you could be waiting on writes to the HDD.

mobo = asus sabertooth 990 r2.0
cpu = amd fx 8150
gpu = nvidia gtx 650 ti
ram = 8gb
ssd = intel 330 series
hhd = seagate 1T
psu = 850W (for sli later)

i tried to use the seagate program to test the hhd and it says working fine.. the thing about this is like its getting unplugged after sometime. so its like external usb

Did you change anything in your BIOS such as temperature settings?
If so,go back there and load optimal defaults and save changes to CMOS.It should restart automatically.

Also you can try taking that drive out,replace it with some other drive just temporarily and install Windows and everything else on it and see how it works.But I doubt it is the HDD/SSD issue.

You mentioned you hear beeping sound from CPU or/and GPU when loading a game:

1. How big is the CPU usage when the beeping sound occurs?
2. How big is the CPU and GPU temperature when the beeping sound occurs?

Some hardware is designed that at high temperatures it reproduces this beeping sound as a warning.

Cheers!
