help with how much ram...

I SHOULD have 512 and 1024 sticks, different thigns say different amounts, for exmaple in start run dxdiag it says i have 1.5gb, but in PC wizard and CPU-z(I think) said i have 512 MB of ram, How do i know how much is actully being seen and used by my system?

Becuase if only 512mb is actully being seen or something, that would piss me off in a way, but then in a way make me happy......
 
on CPU-z does it say 512mb in total? have you looked in the SPD tab and switch between the slot #'s, giving you the detail on the memory thats in each slot?
 
As Mr.Suave said, make sure you're looking at the total memory not each stick. The Memory tab should tell you the total amount. For a third opinion, go to system properties - the total RAM is listed there.
 
Also, in boot up, some computers count how much RAM they have, you could always tell by that. Though more recent computers do that fast enough where you dont see it. Just a thought.
