help with internet

ok got quite a random problem.

my friends got a problem with his computer and as im slightly computer literate hes asked me to help

basically the problem is that it will let the computer access the internet but as soon as you go onto a website that requires you to log in or type anything on a form, the error page comes up. i thought it may have been the security settings but i turned them off but it still happens, i even tried doing a system restore to before the problem occured but it still happens.
i opened msn messenger but it wouldnt sign in and came up with a key ports error.

any help with this would be great as hes relying on me to fix the problem lol

first try a dif keyboard, though i doubt that's the problem. second, try a different browser or 2, like firefox. If all else fails, you might have to do a system re-install. IF YOU DO THIS, MAKE SURE TO HAVE YOUR FREIND SAVE ALL HIS IMPROTANT DOCUMENTS FIRST!

maybe before doing a clean install, you should run a few scans like spybot, anti-virus or even hijackthis. and you should call up your ISP. most of the time, my ISP solves my internet problem.
