help with microsoft outlook express and outlook 2007

i have an external hardrive with xp operating system. it has outlook express with all my emails and contacts.

i can plug that into new formatted pc, new hard drive, and its running outlook 2007.

how do i get all the contacts and email stored in external drive (xp with outlook express) in to the current xp system running outlook 2007? any experience appreciated, i tried help, but that got me really confused.

didnt do anything to hard drive i removed with outlook express. just put in external enclosure. i installed new hard drive in pc, reloaded software, and updated to outlook 2007.

any tips/tricks/help appreciated. thanks, happy new year!

boot to the external export the vcard for addresses and export the pst and save both somewhere you can to when the external is not pluged in and import into office 07
 
The best thing i recommend is just add your contacts again, you can save some time and days figgering out on how to export and by the time you figure out how to export or transfer, you could have all your contacts manualy transfered ;)
