help with motherboard !!

hi all
i need expert help, i need to buid a comp that will support graphivs (video editing)

i am thinking of buying the following mobo/cpu/ram can u please let me know if this is a good combination

Motherboard: EVGA nForce 680i SLI Motherboard CPU Bundle
Cpu: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6700 Processor 2.66GHz OEM
ram: Corsair Dual Channel XMS2 4096MB PC8500 DDR2 1066MHz Memory (2 x 2048MB)
video card: 2x pny geforce 9800 gtx

any expert help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!!
 
how much are you going to spend?
a workstation graphics card is probably worth the upgrade.. its built for stuff like video editing and especially 2d/3d applications like CAD and stuff like that. its less of a gaming card, but more for what you want to do.

you'll probably want the quad core though, for sure a Q6600 or Q6700... would be just fine. but i'd get a Q9550 if i were buying a new motherboard as well.
