Help with my capture card

So I bought a Pinnacle MovieBox Ultimate, and can't seem to get it to work. In device manager it shows it's installed and everything, but just doesn't work. When I go into the program to record, it says this:

I installed the card, and it is recognized, but somehow I have the cables set up wrong?

And these are pictures of how I have it set up.

Output side to put the video back to my TV:

The black cable on the left is a USB from the capture card to the computer.

Nevermind! I went into Device Manager, updated drivers and Windows actually did it FOR ME! I think that is the FIRST time they actually found drivers online.

Windows finds drivers all the time at least it does for me.

Alright well I have a different problem now.

The output video to the TV looks HORRIBLE, and the text is barely readable. Anybody know a fix?
