Ok well my computer is standard nothing new and well yeah im looking to upgrade a few pieces in my computer mostly my Gcard and more RAM.

At the moment i have :

512 MB RAM.
AMD Athlon 64 Processor 3400+ 2.2 Ghz
Radeon X1300/X1500 series

I am looking at upgrading my Graphics card seeing as im pretty sure mine isnt the best for gaming, i pretty much play WoW and all my settings are on low and i run at 40-60 FPS but in a major city i go way way down.

Also wanting to upgrade my RAM seeing as 512 Mb is well crap.

Was wondering if i may get some help :P seeing as im a newbie with all this stuff.

We need to know what kind of computer you have in order to find out which RAM and card you can use.

What brand and model computer do you have?

You're right. Here's the specs page for your pc:

Here's a link to some 1Gig sticks. This RAM is old and therefore a bit expensive.
You're looking at between $30 and $40 per Gig.

As far as a graphics card, I think this would be a bit better than what you have,
and it's $29.99 after rebate:

EVGA 256-P2-N761-TR GeForce 8600 GTS ($49.99 *$29.99 after $20.00 Mail-In Rebate)

I personally have this exact card in my Socket 939 pc and it works great.

You'll have to physically look inside your case to find the specs on your power supply, although this card has fairly low psu requirements.

Minimum of a 350 Watt power supply. (Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 22 Amps)
This card does require a 6 pin PCI-E power connector though, so you may need an adapter.

Ahhk thank you (:, very helpfull.

Kinda lame that the RAM is a bit more expensive but eh doesnt bother me i was only going to get a 1Gb stick should be enough.

The card comes with a adaptor to use two molex connectors to plug into the PCIe power connector on the card.
