Help with new build

I previously had a dell e310 but decided to upgrade it so i ordered a new mobo, ram, and case from new egg and used the existing optical drive, processor and HDD. Here are the specs,

Intel pentium 4 3.0GHz Processor
3 gigs ddr2 677 ram 2x1gb and 2x512mb sticks
2x 160gb SATA HDD
BFG 650 watt psu
2x dvd writers
MSI 975X Platinum V.2 LGA mobo

When i went to boot it up all the fans and drives started up but the screen would not display so i swapped out the video cards and still nothing. I also tried another power supply and the same thing happens. Another strange thing is after a few seconds maybe 10 maybe 60 the computer shuts off completely and then turns back on again.

Any ideas would be greatly appretiated. Thanks.

The connecters were actually 8 pin and yes they are plugged in as well as the ram I RMA'd the Mobo so hopefully in a few days my problem will be solved.
 
I would RMA the processor if possible... It could have been damaged you took it out of the mobo (shorting ect ect)
