Help With Norton 2009 Install?

i bought norton 2009 virus protection and it says i can use it on 3 different computers....i put the disk into my laptop and installed it fine without any troubles.....

now im trying to install it on another laptop, and also on a desktop computer.....

when i put the CD into the drive on either one of these two computers the same thing happens.....i can hear the CD turning for 10-20 seconds and then nothing happens at all.....

if i click on "my computer" and then click on the CD drive it comes up with a blank screen.....no files are listed whatsoever......its like the drive can not read this CD.....

i know the drives are good and working because if i put in another CD it will read the CD and work properly, just not with the norton CD....i spent hours trying to get this to work with no luck.....

what can i do?
 
Pop it back in the computer you originally installed in on. Does it read? It sounds like you might have damaged it after installing it on the first machine.
 
Don't think much of norton but if you must i would burn a new copy on the laptop it works on. i think it has to do with the color of the dye. or and likely download the appropriate copy for norton then install with the key.

ok i put the CD back in the first computer i installed it on and it autostarts the CD perfectly fine, so the CD is fine :confused:
 
Do yourself a big favour and take it back to where you bought it from and swap it for Kaspersky you will not find better,only my opinion of course.
