.NBF is a file extension used mainly by a program called 'Backup Now!'.

Google found me this explanation.

yeah thats what i was using, backup now! i dont even know what a file extention is, can i burn it to dvd? the dvd burning program came with my new acer laptop, called NTI cd-dvd maker, but i cant seem to copy any dvd's. is there a different program i can download or something, nero maybe?? i must sound so stupid ah ha oh well!

i used to use nero on an older computer, and it worked great for copying cds. havent tried dvds though. if youre trying to copy a movie, however, youre gunna need a dvd ripper, and possibly a lawyer...

My desktop (Acer T180) came with NTI CD/DVD maker as well.. it's pretty useless in my case.

I use DVDFab, and could supply you with a copy if you'd like.. just PM me.

Click the link below for it.. all you need to do is unzip it and install it.

You'll also need WinRAR to unzip the file (second link)
