Help with OS install, my first time and im lost

i keep getting
FastTrak 378 (tm) BIOS Verstion 1.00.0.37

No Drive Attached to FastTrak controller, The BIOS is not installed.

but i dont know what its saying that since i loaded the CD that came with the HDD into the dvd drive and made 2 partitons on the HDD one is 82GB (fat32) and the other is 81.9GB (Fat32) and that worked well

i tried NTFS and that didnt work so i went ot FAT32 just to see if it worked

i have a full install of Win 98 and key, and a copy of X64 and key, i have made a MS-Dos Boot disk, none have worked

what i dont get why it says the BIOS is not instaled since i can enter and navigate it fine

Need some thoughts guys

Bump,

also when i tried NTFS it gave me a NTLDR is missing, after i tried Fat32 i went back to NTFS and am getting the error again.

i have turned the PROMISE controler off and that didnt make a dif, (defalt is on and set to raid) i switched it from raid to IDE, that didnt help

right now its back to default settings

whats your thoughts guys?

Cuz your drives arent attatched to the RAID controller but rather the PRI/SEC IDE controllers :)
