Help With Ram

I just bought two 1 gig ram sticks (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145486)

My computer is a Dell Dimension 4700 (http://reviews.cnet.com/Dell_Dimension_4700_for_Home/4507-3118_7-31292625.html)

well after I ordered it my friend tells me that some old or new computers, the Ram stick wont fit into the slots. I dunno if hes joking or just bsing. But CAN SOMEONE PLEASE SEE IF IT WILL FIT! :tears :

you'll be fine, dimension 4700 supports DDR SDRAM, should pop in quite nicely

dude sorry wont work. the ones you ordered are 184 pin. your computer needs 240 pin
edit: who knows. that ad about your dell is confusing

the review says form factor: 240 pin but then the technology is ddr sdram. i thought ddr sdram means 184 pin. bit confusing to me

ok i used this program called CPU-Z and it says
Type : DDR 2
Size 512 MB
Channel # 2
