laptop: toshiba satellite u200
os: xp pro sp 3
iphone: 3g v2.1

I downloaded a remote desktop program on my iphone, to connect to my laptop.
With my router, I have set up port forwarding, and i have allowed remote connections from my computer firewall and system settings.

When i enter my ip into the program on my phone, as soon as the connecting-loading bar shows, my laptop gets a blue screen and crashes.

the same thing happens even if i connect by wire to my university's lan. Just a blue screen!

I asked the company who made the iphone application, and they told me it might be a graphics driver problem.

but my computer manufacturer's website said there is no driver update for my display card.

anyone have any suggestions?

What device were you using when you connected by wire, a PC? I also assume if your getting a blue screen that some connectivity is going on and you're using your external address assigned by your ISP, not the internal one assigned by the router, correct?
