help with remote desktop to vm

Hello folks.we have a problem using remote desktop to connect to the vm.the problem is the computer freezes while loading users profile after log_on.the vm runs win server 2012and the host machine rind same.the vm is also conected to a serprate vitual switch and then linked with NIC that conects to asp firewall 5585 model.this behaviour occurs on every profile including the domain admin accout.we can however connect to the vm from the host also runing win server 2012.pls any reply with corrective steps is duely appreciated.
 
I would just ditch remote desktop and use TeamViewer. But just to be sure, you do have VMware Tools installed? This might have to be installed, I'm not sure.
 
Thnks agent smith.the team viwewer can not be installed for security reasons.we want to resolve this within windows it self.
