Hello all,
My friends Acer Aspire 5200 recently crashed and he asked me to fix it. I was planning on backing up his files, formatting the hard drive, and putting a clean new version of Windows 7 on it. I backed up all the files, formatted the hard drive, but I am encountering some problems when I try to load the Windows 7 CD. When the computer starts I am supposed to select F2 to enter in the BIOS to boot from the CD. For some reason it doesn't respond when I strike F2. I tried the built-in keyboard, and a USB and wireless keyboard even though I knew they wouldn't work since their are no drivers. I am wondering if it is the keyboard that is the problem or something internally. If you guys could please help me out that would be great.
Thanks
